Research Experience: A. Prof Tingfang Yang graduated from Huazhong University of Science and Technology with a doctorate in power system and automation in 2008. His project of Wide Area Power Grid Fault Voltage Traveling Wave Positioning Technology and Complete Sets of Equipment won the first prize of China Machinery Industry Science and Technology. The Key Technology of Lightning Protection for Transmission Lines which he participated in was awarded the second prize for scientific and technological progress in Hunan Province. He participated in the completion of New Tower Grounding Device and Lightning Protection Technology for Transmission Lines and won the second prize of Science and Technology Award of China Electrical Technology Society. More than 40 papers in SCI and EI have been published.
